I was born in Singapore on an evening 26 years ago, and have been pretty much soaked in Chinese history and culture since then.
Now, in London, I feel this blog will be a great way to share some of that great and interesting culture – through its history and language – in that other language I love, English.
All poetic translations on this blog are my own. There are professionals who have done those poems (actually there might not be), and they might do a more accurate job, but I would like to offer my own take on these poems, and hope to capture, perhaps, a different spirit than others have. Hopefully you might find them a useful resource.
Also included are some reviews of restaurants around London (and elsewhere) that I have visited, and some familiar recipes.
Please kick back and relax, and I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!
